Happened upon this excellent show at Gogosian in West Chelsea, Anselm Keifer: Transition from Cool

to Warm. It features big, explosive canvases and watercolor sketches, often of ecstatic women

floating in liquid backgrounds. There are also vitrines filled with giant books with painted pages on handmade paper.
