Eric Fischl: LATE AMERICA

Skarstedt gallery in West Chelsea displays a beautiful and disturbing series of paintings by Fischl.

They depict poolside scenes of affluence and disenchantment. The colors are gorgeous, the brushwork is gloriously loose and the draftsmanship is awesome. The show runs until June 24th.
