Georgia O’Keeffe: Living Modern

The exhibition of the season is undoubtably the exhaustive show on Georgia O'Keefe at the Brooklyn museum, which ends on July 23rd. Its beautifully composed rooms blend her paintings, her clothes and portraits of O'Keefe from various decades. The clothes are a blend of those she designed and sewed, utilitarian outfits she selected for desert living, and the avant-garde pieces she purchased from around the world. The show is extremely well annotated and there are several terrific short films to see.
